ABOUT THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF SURGEONS

The Royal College of Surgeons is committed to enabling surgeons to achieve and maintain the highest standards of surgical practice and patient care. Established by royal charter in 1800, the College relies upon charitable support to underpin its work in advancing surgical standards through education, training and research. The College receives no support from the NHS and donations are crucial for pioneering research as well as training and assessing the next generation of surgeons.
